How to bake delicious Mango Jam Cupcakes
These Mango jam cupcake are super delicious, moist and perfect for mango lovers. This cupcake recipe is made using mango jam without adding any sugar, as the jam itself is so sweet that it perfectly blend in, its sweetness and flavour to the cupcake.
If you ever have left over jam make these yummy cupcakes. This cupcake recipe can be used for making any flavoured cupcakes using that flavour jam. These cupcakes are equally tasty & delicious. For making Mango Jam cupcakes I used mango jam without any extra essence or flavour. The flavour of the jam is so strong that the jam itself is sufficient to add its flavour.
Ingredients:
Makes 6 cupcake.
- Maida/Refined flour – 1 ¼ cup
- Mango jam – ½ cup
- Baking powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Baking soda – ¼ tsp
- Refined oil – ½ cup
- Milk – ½ cup

Method:
- Preheat the oven at 250 °C for 10 mins.
- Take mango jam in a bowl. Whisk it to break the chunks.
- Add oil to the jam and mix it.
- In another bowl sieve together maida/refined flour, baking powder and baking soda.
- Add these dry ingredients to the jam mixture and mix properly.
- Add milk and mix to make a smooth batter.
- The batter will be somewhat sticky and heavy compared to the normal batter but it’s completely fine.
- The color of the batter will not be as intense as the color of the jam. So you can add few drops of yellow color to the batter to give that perfect mango color to the cupcakes. I have not added any color in this recipe. Also the color of the batter will vary as the color of the jam may differ according to the brand of jam used. But ultimately the taste will be the same. So don’t worry about the color.
- You can also add some chunks of fresh mango pulp to add more natural flavor.
- Place the paper cupcake into the mould.
- Fill the batter into the paper cupcakes and bake it at 170°C for 20 to 25 mins.
- Let it cool and enjoy.
