This Almond cake with Choco Honey Glaze is a moist, nice crumby & light cake. The Choco honey glaze adds a rich flavor to the cake. It is a very easy and delicious recipe.
Ingredients:
For the cake
- Refined flour/Maida – 1 cup
- Almond flour – 1 cup
- Powdered sugar – 1 ½ cup
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Vegetable oil – ¾ cup
- Almond milk – 1/2 to 1 cup

For the Choco Honey Glaze
- Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 2 tsp
- Honey – 2 tbsp
- Butter – 10 gm
Method:
- Pre heat the oven at 200° C for 10 minutes.
- Beat the powdered sugar with oil.
- It will be separated at first but after beating for 2 minutes and will get a homogeneous mixture.
- In another bowl mix refined flour, almond flour and baking powder.
- Add this flour to the sugar and oil mixture.
- Mix properly.
- Add almond milk as required or to get pouring consistency batter.
- Pour the batter to a pre greased tin.
- Tap to remove any air entrapped in the batter.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 170°C.
- Once the cake is baked, let it cool in the tin itself for 15 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the tin and place on a wire rack.

To prepare the Choco Honey Glaze
- Take all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Place the bowl on double boiler till the butter melts with continuous mixing.
- Pour the glaze on the cake and spread it with a knife.
- Let it cool.
