I have used cheese and sweet corn in this recipe which is again healthy and easily available. Sometimes you can replace Cheese with mayonnaise…for a change of taste.

Broccoli cheese sandwich
I think sandwiches are the most easy and likeable dish for many of us. We can make so many varieties of sandwiches simply by using different base like cheese, cheese spread, mayonnaise of various flavors and types combining with different vegetables, seasonings, varieties of breads and sauces. Changing just one ingredient changes the taste. So just imagine there are so many combinations we can try out.
Ingredients:
- Bread slice – 4
- Sweet corn – 1 cup
- Cheese spread – 2 tbsp
- Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
- Butter – as required
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Dry herbs(optional) – 1 tsp

Method:
- Bring some water to boil in a pan. Add some butter and salt to it.
- Add sweet corn and boil for just 2 mins. This will make the sweet corn more juicy and soft. You can skip this step in case there is less time.
- Remove from the flame. Keep the corn in the water till use.
- Toast the bread slices with butter in toaster or on pan.
- Apply cheese spread to one side of the slice and tomato sauce to the other side.
- Layer with sweet corn on cheese spread slice, sprinkle some black pepper powder and cover with the tomato sauce slice.
- Toast the sandwich in a pan by changing its side or in sandwich maker for 5 mins.
- Cut into two halves.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce.
